Though we have many to choose from, sometimes brands need specific attributes to target their ideal user. Here is an easy way to create your own filter attribute.

First, click your app name in the top left corner, and click App Settings.

In the menu on the left, click App Attributes. Next, click the Create Attribute button

Fill in the name of your desired attribute filter. Select data type. The choices can be defined in the Attribute Values help doc.

E.g. An app wants to create an audience of all the app users who have clicked the Menu button in their app. They create a custom attribute with the name, Clicked Menu.

Once the custom attribute has been saved, your developers will need to connect your app to the new endpoint you have created on the backend. This is necessary to have a working attribute filter.

Once you have created a custom filter, it will now be available in your Audience Segment drop-down menu.

To learn about the other filters check out the Attribute Glossary. For a complete run-through of the Audiences feature, check out our How to Create an Audience help article. For additional one on one help, contact us.
